The Independent published an article by Robert Fisk on Tuesday October 6 called “The demise of the dollar” adding weight to the rumors that have been going around about an upcoming attack on the USD by the Chinese.
As a coincidence (or not) the dollar value of gold jumped by around 50 dollars in one day.
Below are some links that deal with the issues and their consequences raised in the article a lot better than I ever could.
Peter Schiff’s speech to the mortgage bankers 2006 is now available in one part. I have previously transcribed the speech in the in its “cut-up” form. So in this post, I have put together all the previous posts. The transcription includes the Q&A section at the end. There are probably plenty of errors in the transcription so please leave a comment if you find one.
Dr. Carl Johan Calleman, one of the front-most experts on the Mayan Calendar has published a new article about the Gregorian Calendar date of 2009-09-09 which hapens to coincide with a new new tzolkin round according to the Mayan Calendar. I find Carl Johan’s interpretations very refreshing, as he belongs to one of the few people not prophesying about the end of the world Hollywood style in 2012 but talks about a change in consciousness which will inevitably bring about turbulence, but which we can influence. And we can do it here and now.
A colleague of mine suggested I watch Peter Schiff’s speech to a bunch of mortgage brokers in 2006 in which he in essence predicts the complete collapse of the US mortgage and real-esate markets. It is truly incredible speech that is upsetting on so many levels. I found it so interesting that I will try to transcribing it, so that it can be accessible in written form (couldn’t find this particular speech transcribed) for translation into other languages. I do believe that EVERYONE should hear this. It is just a hint of what is to come, and we need to be prepared so that we can find alternatives when things start hitting the fan.

I recently noticed in my sats that a bunch of the 404 errors that were logged were most likely hacking attempts. So, since I didn’t want to keep going back to logs to figure out who did what, I threw together a little code that can be inserted into any html file that is stored on a host that supports php. The code provides a warning for the person trying to access a file that does not exist, and it also sends an e-mail to me when such a thing happens.
